JJC SSK-OA5P ScoutSnap Kit is specially designed for DJ. Osmo Action 5 Pro / 4 / 3. It protects your camera while enhancing handheld shooting stability and operational convenience. The kit also supports a variety of accessory expansions, making street photography more efficient, safe, and professional. The set primarily consists of a camera cage, quick-release handle, and a shutter adapter button.
The camera cage is made of premium aluminum alloy, offering a lightweight yet durable structure that precisely matches the camera’s contours. Multiple anti-slip silicone pads are placed at contact points to ensure a secure fit and prevent scratches.
The handle connects to the cage through a magnetic quick-release female mount on the side, allowing fast and solid installation.The handle features an ABS body that is lighter than full-metal handles, with a silicone-padded grip and ergonomic design for a comfortable hold, making long shooting sessions easier and less fatiguing. A battery storage compartment is built into the bottom of the handle, lined with soft silicone to prevent battery scratches. The compartment lid also includes a microSD card slot with an EVA pad inside for added protection. The handle is equipped with a lanyard hole and can be paired with a JJC wrist strap (sold separately).
The shutter adapter button mounts onto the top cold-shoe female slot of the cage, shortening the distance between the camera’s shutter button and the handle for a smoother, more intuitive shooting experience. The middle contact point of the shutter adapter button can be adjusted to match the position of the camera’s shutter button, ensuring compatibility with different models. An additional cold-shoe female mount on top of the the shutter adapter button allows attachment of accessories such as a fill light to enhance shooting flexibility.
The kit includes a lens cap, anti-loss lens cap cord, hot-shoe cover, hex tool, and two wrist straps for convenient carrying and use. Compact, durable, and easy to operate, the entire set is an ideal companion for street photography, travel vlogging, and everyday content creation.
In addition, installing this kit does not interfere with the camera’s buttons, touchscreen, ports, battery door, or microSD card slot. You can perform everyday operations with ease without needing to remove the setup frequently.
